ZEROBASEONE 's new Japanese original song "Only One Story" has been chosen as the new opening theme for the TV anime "Pokémon"!
"Only One Story," the band's first original Japanese song in about seven months, is a refreshing and cheerful song of encouragement that sends words of encouragement to those setting out on an adventure, telling them "Everything will be alright."
The song is in keeping with the worldview of the anime, in which the main characters, Rico and Roy, create their own unique story and give courage to move forward with the friends and Pokémon they meet!
You can hear "Only One Story" for the first time in the latest PV for the new chapter of the "Pokémon" TV anime, "Rayquaza Rising," which was released today, so be sure to check it out!

Pokemon is one of my favorite anime that I've watched since I was a child, and I've always wanted to be in charge of an opening theme, so I was really happy!
The chorus of "Only One Story" is very catchy, and I think it's a melody that you won't be able to get out of your head once you hear it. In particular, the last line of the chorus contains the memorable lyrics, "No matter how many times I cry, you'll be okay," so be sure to pay attention to it.
It's a fun song that everyone can sing and dance to, so be sure to enjoy it along with the anime!
